Day 1
The journey begins inside a modern air-conditioned minibus, should you come as part of a shared group 8 people, where we will head towards the Atlas Mountains. Our first port of call is at the Kasbah in Ait Ben Haddou.
This walled city actually is home to around six Kasbahs and you’ll be amazed at the ancient feel of the place. After our stop off at the Kasbah we will head to the city of Ouarzazate. Here you can witness the place where many Hollywood blockbuster films were shot. The Living Daylights, Gladiator and Lawrence of Arabia, among others, have all seen the clapperboard in this city.
If the scheduler allows for it, we may also stop off at the Atlas Film Studios. There is a 3.00 euro entrance fee to the studios, which has not been included within the price. Entry to the studios is at your own discretion.
The afternoon is when we make our way through the Draa Valley. You will see a beautiful oasis and a stunning landscape that will have you taking photographs at regular points. At the end of this day we will meet up with our camels and ride to the desert Berber camp.
The Overnight Stay
The overnight stay in the Berber tents will include a sumptuous evening meal and breakfast in the morning. It is possible to upgrade your overnight accommodation to a luxury desert camp with shower.

Day 2
The following day will see us return into the desert city of Zagora where we will relive the journey back through the Draa Valley. We then go back over the Atlas Mountains and return to Marrakech where you can expect to return around 1900 p.m.

Me and 4 other adults have done a 2  days desert trip, it was outstanding. The car was new and air conditioned. the nomad tent were nice and clean. Food was good everywhere we went. Our guide Rashid was a very knowledgeable and helpful person. He does everything he can to make our trip the most enjoyable possible. He plans the trip according to our requests. Highly recommend this trip as it's a one of a kind experience.

We undertook a private tour with a group of 6.  We got Rachid as driver and guide. He was punctual, flexible and a good driver.
The night in the luxurious permanent camp surrounded by sand dunes. The camp has a relative large staff and a toilet and shower in every tent. The lunches we ate were typical tourist food (and not included), but the breakfasts and
dinners were really tasty. All in all, it truly was a great experience, during which we felt safe and relaxed.

My friends and I (group of 5) took the 2 days 1 nights desert tour from Marrakesh. We were picked up at our Riad in Marrakesh at 730am by Rachig and were on our way to Zagoura. Rachid stopped at all the scenic lookouts for us so we can see the amazing views and take plenty of pics.
He was an expert driver and we were in good hands with Rachid. Once we arrived at the desert camp, we were amazed at our accommodations! We had tents for 5 people! The tents were luxurious!
We then had an amazing Morrocan dinner prepared by Fati and his assistant. After dinner, we gathered around the campfire and the staff sang Morrocan songs for us. We had an amazing time!!! Then the night was the best time. We saw more stars than we ever saw before. We saw shooting stars and we even saw the core of the Milky Way! We had fun capturing all of the amazing night sky with our cameras.
The next morning we woke up to catch the amazing sunrise and the endless sand dunes. Finally we started on our camel rides back to our car! and then sadly it was time to leave the camp site. Rachid took us through the desert again and we even stopped to have tea with his frinds who lives near the desert. Afterwards, we headed back to Marrakesh stopping at all the scenic lookouts and rest stops along the way.

We have chosen a 3 days trip from Marrakech, and we have passed a lot of beautiful berber villages, among which the wonderful Ait Ben Haddou, set of many renowned movies. Karim, our guide, is a very professional and polite guy and he has accompanied us for the all time, telling us about Morocco. We visited the great Dades Gorge and then we went to Sahara.
We spent one unforgettable night in the Sahara desert at camp, under a starry sky. The camp is fantastic and the dunes absolutely amazing, especially at sunset. They provide camel riding, sandboarding, and a typical Moroccan dinner with great tajine.
Everything went smooth and comfortable and I would definitely choose it again.

My friend and I were traveling for a week and only had a short amount of time in Morocco. We booked the 2 day Desert overnight visit to the Zagora. The drive was a long and windy one. Our guide, Rachid, was very nice and informative. We made various stops along the way to stretch our legs or buy coffee/drinks and use the bathroom.
Once we arrived at the desert, we were able to ride camels to the camp during sunset. We were welcomed at camp with mint tea and snacks before being served a delicious dinner. It did get cold at night, so make sure to bring some warm clothes. We sleep under the stars. We saw 4 shooting stars that night, and it was amazing. We were able to wake up with the sunrise on the horizon. We were able to ride the camels again in the morning to watch the sunrise on the dunes, then we sandboarded and ate breakfast before heading back to Marrakech.
Overall it was a really excellent trip with very nice and attentive people. I would definitely recommend going if you have the time

We had two people with us: our driver, Omar and the guide Rachid. Both were extremely attentive and answered all our questions. They made sure we were enjoying ourselves at all times. The tour itself is very comprehensive. To me, it was the best way to get from one city to another, as it gives you the opportunity to see different berber villages, visit old kasbahs, cross the Atlas Mountains, and most importantly visit Ait Ben Hadou! A definite must!

Without doubt this is a excellent tour to go on.
Our whole experience with Day Trips Marrakech was excellent. It began with a very easy-to-use website and very clear communication before arriving in Morocco.
Our driver Omar and guide Rachid were excellent. We felt safe driving the long distance over the atlas mountains and through the desert with Omar. He was prompt with timing and an excellent driver
They were very flexible with stops as we drove. Rachid  was very knowledgeable about the landscape, architecture, and Berber culture.
Upon arrival at the dunes our accommodations were excellent. We were able to sandboard and explore. Rachid and Omor made an amazing dinner with traditional soup and lamb tagine. Truly excellent food. Brahim and Rachid graced us with some Berber drum music around the fire following dinner.
The drive to Marrakech was also exciting with stops in the villages.
Omar and Rachid really made our Zagora experience everything we could have wanted and more. They were knowledgable and enjoyable to be around. Would definitely choose Rachid and Omor to guide our trip again!
